Product User Scenario:

Simulated in the picture to your left, is Steve Larkin, VP of Product Development at  NewTech.  Steve is talking to his wife, Nicole, about their 3rd anniversary plans for a two-week trip to New Zealand.

Obviously, he doesn't want to be disturbed right now.  BUT, he's expecting a fax from one of his company's  vendors, his CEO is getting ready to call him about "his raise," and an engineer is supposed to call Steve back with some technical information he needs.

He's in Seattle for a conference, and he's using his cell phone for all of his business  communications.

His Executive Assistant is running on a Toll Free 800 number and this is the number he gives out to his contacts.

What's he going to do?

Find out how Steve talks to his CEO and the engineer and receives his fax - all in his hotel room while maintaining almost constant contact with Nicole.

Product User Scenario (Continued From Top)

Again, Steve is out of town, he's talking to Nicole on the hotel room phone and his Executive Assistant is standing by to receive his other calls and his fax.

Nicole is very busy enticing him to leave the conference early so they can do some leisurely travel shopping and finish packing.  Blah, blah, blah . . .

So that he could stay on the line with Nicole, the first thing he did was to put Nicole on hold and called his iOfficeSuite.com Executive Assistant and quickly changed his "Find Me - Follow Me" Toll Free service to send all of his calls to ring on his cell phone.

This way he could keep talking to Nicole on the hotel room phone while leaving his cell phone free for the vendor to send the fax, and for his CEO and the engineer to phone him.

He goes back to Nicole and says, "Honey, I just had my Executive Assistant send all my calls to my cell phone.  So, when my cell phone rings, I'm going to have to take the calls - but for right now, please tell me a little bit more about that new negligee you picked up for our trip."  She coodles and coos into the phone and is totally delighted that he has made HER a priority, right in the middle of his busy day.  So she tells him a few choice details about her new negligee and his cell phone rings.

He excuses himself from his call with Nicole, answers his cell phone and his Executive Assistant tells him, in a very clear voice, that his CEO is on the line for him.

He definitely wants to hear about his raise, so he presses a key on his cell phone and he's connected with his CEO.

"Hi Steve, listen, about your raise - I had a tough time getting everyone to sign-off but it looks like it will go through for you just fine, providing you can complete the new launch within 14 days after you get back from New Zealand.  Can you keep that schedule?  You can? Great!!!  ....  blah, blah blah....   Oh and Steve, have you received the fax you were looking for from our vendor?"  Steve replies, "I'll check right now."

He puts his CEO on hold and dials his Executive Assistant while still on his cell phone and receives word that his fax has arrived and that it has been placed into his iOfficeSuite.com eMail box.  He disconnects from his Assistant, takes the CEO off hold and tells him the fax is in and that he will retrieve it and call him right back.

Steve goes back to Nicole and says Honey, I need to pick up a fax, may I call you right back.  She says, "Sure."   Steve hangs up and plugs his lap top into the hotel room phone line.  He logs in to his iOfficeSuite.com eMail box and the fax is sitting in his inbox waiting for him.

When he clicks on the fax which is attached to his eMail, he finds out that his vendor has left a few questions open that Steve needs clarification on.  So he opens up Microsoft Word, explains his additional questions and faxes the Word document back to his vendor via his iOfficeSuite.com Online Fax Machine - right from his laptop.

He then calls his CEO back, reads the fax to him and then forwards him a copy of the fax from his iOfficeSuite.com eMail box.  Steve then opens his iOfficeSuite Executive Organizer and makes a project tracking note stating that the vendor's information is still pending and that the launch will have to be reworked unless positive confirmation is received from the vendor - blah, blah, blah...  He marks the note to be posted and sent to his other team members inside Executive Organizer and logs out of his iOfficeSuite account.

While he's talking to his CEO another call comes in, so he places him on hold and Steve's Executive Assistant lets him know that the engineer is on the line.  Steve presses a key that passes the engineer to voice mail and he unholds his CEO, finishes the discussion and calls the engineer right back.

With all of that out of the way, he's now ready and free to call Nicole back...

He takes off his shoes, gets comfortable, dials Nicole and is happy!!!  He took care of all of his business, even though he was out of town.  He did not have to pay the expensive hotel fax rates ($3-$4 per page) for receiving or sending his faxes.  He was completely able to communicate with everyone, as though he was in a "normal" office.  And he was able to do it all without leaving his room - thanks to his complete iOfficeSuite Executive Account.  And now he has time to speak with his darling wife and relax his way through his evening . . .
